Saban or Not, Bandai America has done it again!

With the return of Saban Brands and the upcoming Power Rangers Samurai, Bandai America is getting ready to launch its new toyline for the series!

Many hoped that with the return of Haim Saban back into the scene, Power Rangers Toys would once again revert back into its roots of quality and the Japanese Molds, which suffered heavily during Disney's era of the franchise.

Apparently not! With or without Saban, Bandai America has decided to go ahead with its usual business model and what's "best" for the company in such an US economy.

Recently, images of the upcoming toyline have surfaced on the Internet, and garnered much attention of the fan communities, more negative less positive. Some speculated that these toys could have been long planned by Bandai America for release with or without the show to back it up, hence the heavily altered designs. We shall see...

Personally, I think they are hideous unless they are going to be the designs for a movie release. In that case, kids might find it cooler. But who cares, I am going for the S.H. Figuarts that Bandai Japan is releasing next year. It seems that Bandai Japan finally saw its weakness for the lack of quality action figures.

Again, the Zords are heavily butchered this time round. I ran some comparisons with the original Shinken-Oh, and concluded that these would be unable to transform into the Emblem "Origami" Mode. Even some transformations have been drastically altered.

What's up with the Blue Puppy, I mean Dragon? Seriously Bandai America, do you always have to go to such extents? This is officially worse than Operation Overdrive.
